Nathan J. Miller, MHA, CMPE, is Senior Vice President at Anesthesia Resources with over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience. He specializes in operational transformation, using data and technology to drive efficiency, growth, and long-term success. His expertise spans revenue cycle management, managed care, clinical operations, analytics, strategic planning, and Lean-based performance improvement.

At Anesthesia Resources, Nathan led a full operational modernization with a strong emphasis on technology and automation. He implemented a centralized data lake and standardized Power BI reporting to improve transparency and decision-making. He spearheaded Robotic Process Automation (RPA) across all clients, significantly reducing manual workload, improving turnaround times, and enhancing scalability. RPA is now a cornerstone of the company’s scalable, compliant operating model. He also strengthened corporate compliance, leading a risk assessment, aligning the compliance manual with regulations, and upgrading IT systems to improve data security and monitoring.

To support growth, Nathan expanded the team with key hires in coding, finance, and customer service and led the successful relocation of the corporate office in 2024, doubling the physical footprint and upgrading infrastructure to support advanced systems. He is currently executing a strategic growth plan that has expanded Anesthesia Resources’ market presence, while fostering collaboration across operational, financial, and administrative teams.

Mr. Miller is a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) with deep expertise in physician practice revenue cycle, mergers, contracting, and compensation modeling. He is a frequent speaker and published contributor on RCM best practices. He holds a double major Bachelor of Arts from Wilmington College and a Master’s in Health Care Administration from Marshall University. He is active in MGMA and HFMA. Outside of work, he enjoys boating, trail running, and supporting his family’s activities.
